Russian Clay Group was recreated from the former Soviet
Comission on Clays and Clay minerals in September, 1999. 44 members are
mainly the representatives of Russian universities and research institutes.
The Group is a member of European Clay Group Association (ECGA).
At present Dr. Tatiana Alekseeva
(Institute
of Physicochemical
and Biological problems of Soil Science, Russian Academy
of Sciences,
Pushchino) is the representative of Russian Group in ECGA Council.
